Future at Trax?

I just had a casual but business-related conversation with the HR Manager and my OJT head at Trax Technologies Asia, Inc. (but I just did the listening most of the time, not the talking). The talk was about issues/problems (including potential thesis topics) and projects in the company.

It’s nice to know that our (the trainees) presence and efforts here are really appreciated. The HR Manager asked if it’s okay with me to be “outsourced” or to do a part-time job to help them with their projects. She even told me to think about having a long-term engagement with Trax in the future (she mentioned about hiring me when I graduate). Wow, I actually have a future job already! Hahaha. But I still have to think about all of those stuff anyway.

Carpet Cleaning

Let’s face it, things that we want and have to do have increased in number. The world is going faster, and we just can’t fit all of those tasks in one day no matter how hard we try. One of the things that have been compromised due to this fact is the household chores. Yes, there are maids or helpers to do that, but I know even they couldn’t accommodate all those works. That’s why service firms are established.

Do you have a carpet at home? We don’t, but I know how hard it is to clean one. They absorb all the dusts, dead skin cells, hairs, allergens, and whatnots. It’s a pain in the head. Good thing there’s carpet cleaning Portland OR. It saves you the time and effort in trying to rid the carpet of all those microscopic stuff. You would then have enough time to do all your other tasks.

I’m Excited for Glee!

I mentioned in my other blog that I’m a Gleek. And I didn’t lie. Ever since my good friend Bryan Karl introduced me to Glee, I’ve been wanting to see it everyday. But after I finished watching the first eight episodes of Glee Season 1 online last week, I’m missing it already (miss as in regretting the absence, not being unable to watch it). This Wednesday, Glee is going to be back with its most-awaited 9th episode! I can’t wait! I wanna see it already! The Department of Languages and Literature (DOLL) of the University of San Carlos (my school!), in partnership with the English Majors Association (EMA), will be staging My Fair Lady, which is a play based on George Bernard Shaw’s Pygmalion. This will be an opportunity for the viewers to look into the socio-cultural and historical values portrayed in the story.

I miss cable TV! We’ve had it when I was still in high school. When we moved to a new residence, we don’t have cable TV anymore. It’s because the provider said the connection can’t reach our place since it’s far from the main road.

If you don’t want to feel the frustration that I’ve felt, you could order Direct TV, if you have that much money! It’s just like a cable TV because it has a lot of channels. You would be convinced by the Direct TV Service. The Direct TV System would surely amaze you (as it has amazed me though I haven’t tried it yet) so better try it out!

For the past few days, I’ve been having some headaches. Though I’m not seriously sick, I really don’t like this feeling. I think the last time I got sick was just last April.
