Right now, my addiction is the song What You Got by Colby O’Donis feat. Akon. You might think I’m really obsessed because I listen to the song over and over again. You’re right. I’m obsessed. I’m hooked. I’m addicted.
Colby O’Donis is such a great artist. He knows how to sing, play the guitar, dance, and not to mention, he’s hot! That’s why I love the video of the song so much.
This guy’s sizzling hot! He’s actually a new artist. I first heard him in What You Got feat. Akon. At first, I thought it was a female artist singing the song. But when Jo told me he’s handsome, then I realized he’s a guy. Hahaha. I think he’s my age. So young yet so talented! He’s a very good singer, dancer, guitarist/musician – an all-around entertainer! Go check out his official site for more information (if you’re interested).

I peeped you on the phone
Just showin’ off ya stones
And notice that that pinky ring is bright enough baby
I know you’re not alone
But I could just be wrong
The way them fellas houndin’ and sizin’ you up baby
(Hook:)
And I like the way you take advantage of
Every man you love
I see, and I know your game girl
But I don’t mind if ya come and play with thugs
Just don’t talk too much
I see, you’re so cute you don’t have to say a word
Yeah those guys wanna come treat ya right
Cause you’re sweeter than apple pie
Everything that you want you got
Girl you know that you need to stop
Most beautiful thing in sight
Always takin’ on the spotlight
Always in the club lookin’ hot
Girl you know that you need to stop
(Chorus:)
Always talkin’ bout what you got (Eh)
Always talkin’ bout what you got (Eh)
Always talkin’ bout what you got (Eh)
Girl you know that you need to stop (Eh)
Always talkin’ bout what you got (Eh)
Always talkin’ bout what you got (Eh)
Always talkin’ bout what you got (Eh)
Girl you know that you need to stop (Eh)
(Verse 2:) Colby O’Donis
Girl I can tell you want something to love
That’s why you hold on to everything that pass you by
Can’t resist girl one can’t lie
Now tell if you are here for me
Or everybody watchin’ you shake from left to right
The way you move got me hypnotized
(Hook:)
The way you take advantage of
Every man you love
I see, and I know your game girl
But I don’t mind if ya come and play ya thug
Just don’t talk too much
I see, you’re so cute you don’t have to say a word
Yeah those guys wanna come treat ya right
Cause you’re sweeter than apple pie
Everything that you want you got
Girl you know that you need to stop
Most beautiful thing in sight
Always takin’ on the spotlight
Always in the club lookin’ hot
Girl you know that you need to stop
(Chorus:)
Always talkin’ bout what you got (Eh)
Always talkin’ bout what you got (Eh)
Always talkin’ bout what you got (Eh)
Girl you know that you need to stop(Eh)
Always talkin’ bout what you got (Oooh)
Always talkin’ bout what you got (Oooh)
Always talkin’ bout what you got (Oooh)
Girl you know that you need to stop (Eh)
(Verse 3:) Akon
My eyes away from you girl when you get on the floor and do what you do
And errbody wanna come back to that body the kind that remind something I’m like you
Cause your that type to drive a man crazy and snatch him away from his lady
No matter how hard the man hold back he’ll end up callin’ you baby
And they never really know what to do once you expose that thang you do
Ya had him crawlin’ on hands and knees and ya find a way to get him out that cheese
And why ya thinkin’ that you the only dude she off in the mall livin’ off of you
Lettin’ errbody know she got you but now you feel like a fool
(Hook:)
Yeah those guys wanna come treat ya right
Cause you’re sweeter than apple pie
Everything that you want you got
Girl you know that you need to stop
Most beautiful thing in sight
Always takin’ on the spotlight
Always in the club lookin’ hot
Girl you know that you need to stop
(Chorus:)
Always talkin’ bout what you got (Eh)
Always talkin’ bout what you got (Eh)
Always talkin’ bout what you got (Eh)
Girl you know that you need to stop (Eh)
Always talkin’ bout what you got (Eh)
Always talkin’ bout what you got (Eh)
Always talkin’ bout what you got (Eh)
Girl you know that you need to stop (Eh)
And here’s the video for the song. Kaadikan na ‘to!
About my school life, it’s actually getting harder! Nosebleed talaga! Like in our Advanced Engineering Math, our instructor is so freaking moody! I mean, when she asks us a question and we’re not able to answer (Hellurr?! ‘Di kaya kami genius!), she gets angry and wouldn’t discuss! We’re left hanging. This Tuesday, we’re gonna have an exam. Gaaahhh. Help us, God.
It seems that my Animik is currently down so I’ll have to post this here. It’s kinda random anyway. And since this is my random blog, this entry suits the place.
Okay. So yesterday, Jilliand (our friend who’s the cousin of another friend, Jo) told us about the song Gloomy Sunday. She let us listen to it this afternoon. It’s a very controversial song since according to legends, it has inspired a lot of suicides. It’s actually a song written in 1933 by Rezső Seress that talks about his mourning of the death of his lover. More of the story here.
It’s a kinda creepy song, in a different sense. So if you’re depressed, I suggest you don’t listen to this song as it might lead you to commit suicide. Or not.
Sunday is gloomy,
My hours are slumberless
Dearest the shadows
I live with are numberless
Little white flowers
Will never awaken you
Not where the black coach of
Sorrow has taken you
Angels have no thoughts
Of ever returning you
Would they be angry
If I thought of joining you?
Gloomy Sunday
Gloomy is Sunday,
With shadows I spend it all
My heart and I
Have decided to end it all
Soon there’ll be candles
And prayers that are said I know
But let them not weep
Let them know that I’m glad to go
Death is no dream
For in death I’m caressin’ you
With the last breath of my soul
I’ll be blessin’ you
Gloomy Sunday
Dreaming, I was only dreaming
I wake and I find you asleep
In the deep of my heart here
Darling I hope
That my dream never haunted you
My heart is tellin’ you
How much I wanted you
Gloomy Sunday
